Kim Seh Wang Signature Yamaha Pacifica.
Now THIS is pretty cool - we had an email from James Kim of the South Korean band N.E.X.T proudly telling us about his Signature Yamaha Pacifica saying "I had recently had my signature guitar displayed at the Rock Walk at the Hall of Fame, at the front of GuitarCenter Hollywood in the same window with Eddie Van Halen, Steve Lukather, Kirk Hammett, & Slash. On display in the other windows are the guitars of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, etc.. This is the first Yamaha instrument to be displayed at the Rock Walk during the company’s 125 years of history, the first Korean musician’s instrument to be displayed at the Rock Walk and the 2nd Asian artist’s instrument to be displayed at the Rock Walk."
The all-important spec is;
- mahogany body with flame maple top with no gloss,
- hard maple neck, ebony fretboard,
- stainless steel jumbo frets,
- special order and placement of Seymour Duncan P.U.s of 59’(front) + TB4(rear) with gold covers,
- 1 volume & 1 tone with coil-tab in black pickguard,
- special top of the line original Gotoh parts in gold,
- hand written, then imprinted signature located at the back of the head in Korean & front letters in English
James’ CV, much like his playing, is ridiculously accomplished so the best thing we can do is include this link to let you hear for yourselves.
Heroquest 3D! En pleine partie avec les règles de Heroquest remaster (http://heroquest-reloaded.blogspot.fr/?m=1)
Always reblog 3D Heroquest
That’s awesome and I’m sure its way cheaper than a prosthetic, but seriously it cannot be cheap to 3d print something that big…
this one 17 year old guy 3d printed an entire arm and shoulder for himself and it cost him $250
this seven year old girl got half an arm (just like lusie in the gifs) 3d printed and it only cost $50
can we just compare that with the average price of buying a prosthetic

3d printing is gonna help so many people holy crap
No no no, guys, this gif set leaves out the literal best stuff from the video.
So a few years back, this guy who accidentally cut off his fingers, teamed up with a special effects artist/puppeteer and created a 3D printable prosthetic hand, that used the movement of the wearer to be able to grab things. The guys who did this said they were just going to post the schematics online, which in turn lead to creating a network of people with 3D printers, who were willing to print prosthetics for people. The network of volunteers, turned into an organization that gives prosthetic arms/hands to kids who need them. They have science types improving the designs and creating new ones, they got a grant from Google, classrooms and scout troops are getting involved and making prosthetic hands for people.
Everything about this is amazing.
A Working BMO Super Nintendo Emulator
3D print designer Mike Barretta built this amazing BMO emulator using an assortment of 3D printed pieces and Super Nintendo buttons, as well as a mixture of electronic equipment. To see this emulator in action, check out the play test of Donkey Kong Country.
You can learn to build your own BMO Emulator via Matt’s Thingiverse. Instructions, needed parts, 3D print files and everything else you need to know can be found on his page. Finally you can have your very own BMO!
My 3D tribute to Dave Trampier’s iconic cover of the 1st ed AD&D Players Handbook. When I started painting Otherworld Miniatures’ demon idol I knew I had to build it a proper arch and raised platform with some OSL paint effects. (Idol and altar from Otherworld Miniatures. Dungeon stone, treasure chest, and braziers cast in plaster from Hirst Arts molds. Tiny beads added for brazier loops.) Otherworld now makes braziers and a pair of thieves posed for climbing and prying the right eye gem.
